We are a non-governmental organisation focused on the advancement of the Global sustainable development goals by primarily combating climate change and as a result promote good health and well being.
As a committed non-governmental organization, our core purpose is to champion the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a special emphasis on SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Founded in December 2020, we have been actively contributing through various initiatives since January 2020.
In the past three years, our efforts have scaled significantly, enabling us to successfully execute 10 projects, mobilize over 100 dedicated volunteers, and positively impact over 20,000 individuals. Our primary focus is Africa, beginning with Nigeria, where we address critical environmental issues that fuel climate change – this includes tackling single-use plastic use, improper waste disposal, deforestation, bush burning, and the overreliance on fossil fuels.
Our sensitization and campaign programmes, are designed to reach out to predisposed, and/or affected communities, groups or locations, where we educate locals in relatable terms about climate change, environmental health and personal wellbeing.
Is one of our strategies to displace carbon from the atmosphere and reduce air pollution, as well as restore soil health, preserve indigenous trees for food, medicine and also manage and/or prevent potential flood crisis and other possible natural disasters.
We carry out physical sustainability projects like plastic extraction cleanups, recycle and reuse trainings, trash to wealth skill development trainings, and tree planting where locals are educated over a period, and are then supervised by our team on a "Self-Led" activity to practice what has been taught.
Recycling and environmental care tranings are used to empower youths and women of local communities to transform waste to wealth through recycling and craft. This helps control the spread of plastics and reuseable waste from landfills and water bodies. It empowers its benefactors financially as a source of income and gives them a sense of ownership as it concerns their environment.
Periodic Round Table Discussion: Our strategic stakeholder meetings on sustainability topics gather policy makers, industry leaders, advocates, passionate individuals, and organizations for discussions aligned with Global Sustainable Goals 13 and 3. Tailored to address our unique needs in Nigeria and Africa, these sessions aim to find enduring solutions.
Project Air_Vest: An annual rehabilitation and remediation scheme marking the commencement of our tree planting program. Focused on carbon capturing, this initiative aims for a distinct reduction in air pollution, conservation of indigenous plants, reversal of desertification, and restoration of lost vegetation. Each year, our target is ambitiously set to surpass the previous, striving to reduce carbon pollution and enhance air quality for better health.
These targeted programs respond swiftly to environmental emergencies or epidemics, providing immediate assistance and strategic solutions. Whether it's a sudden crisis, such as natural disasters or pollution incidents, or an outbreak requiring urgent attention, our special intervention programs are designed to address the specific needs of affected communities
Launched in response to emerging challenges or heightened demands, these initiatives signify our adaptive approach to environmental issues. When special projects arise or calls for expanding existing endeavors are made, project launches allow us to introduce innovative solutions and long-term strategies.
